sgHOULD DEATHBED KEPT?
Near death from a leng y , 41'woman asks her husband to promise
that he will never re -marry. raises, and she passes away. But atter he
has overcome the grief of his wife, the husband finds solace in the
company of another woman. He would like to marry her. Shotild he keep to
the emotional promise he made to his late wife, or should he go on with his
lite by marrying another woman?
It's a difficult decision, as are most problems stemming from promises made
to a dying loved one. On the other hand, the husband would be very happy if
he were to marry again. On the other hand, promises aro promises.
The int ant thing to remember, if ever you are faced with a similar prob-
lem, is th t deathbed promises are nearly always made under severe emo-
tional stre s. They may not always be carefully considered by both people.
Tho man finally did decide to remarry, knowing his first wife would have
wanted him to be happy. It should always be kept in mind that the memory of
the departed must be honored, but that survivors must be free to continue
with their own lives.

A good water supply will top your list of priorities if you don't
live in an area that supplies coy water to iu customers. Presently.
safe water is a major concern as good water is essential to one's
health.
A well may be dug, bored, drilled ur driven, depending on the
geology of the arca and the depth at which the water•bearing for-
mation is found. As pan of *his s:oint uentxn, all or part of the well
is used. This involves lining the sides of the well web a material
that will prevent the open hole from collapsing aid prevent sur-
face water from moving into the well. i'ollowing completion the
well will be capped in a secure manner.
Digging a well was the usual method of construction before the
development of motor -driven boring or dnlling machines. Dug
went arc used in areas where a dependable supply of ground wa-
ter exists at shallow depths. Because dug wells usually penetrate
the water -bearing formation for a short distance many of them dry
up when the watenable drops. As a result, many old dug wells are
being replaced by deeper niuec reliable drilled and bored wells.
