JOINT MANAOIMINT COMMITTEE
HENSALL -The volunteerauxil-
iary members met on Monday to
discuss plans for the upcoming ac-
tivities in December. Our volun-
teers joined the lunch club mem-
bers of this month for a delightful
chicken caesar salad and pine colo -
da bread. After lunch residents
were delighted to commence into
an exciting afternoon of bingo and
Christmas carolling. This was the
last week for the Bethel Reformed
Church women to help with bingo:
it was a pleasure to have their as-
sistance once again.
Rev. Stojkovic was our worship
leader for the Tuesday afternoon
church service. Residents showed
their gratitude with a full turn out
that day. Later in the week, several
residents participated in a Christ-
i mas craft session - just in time to
add the finishing touches to the
!Christmas decorating around the
home for our open house. The
weather was perfect for our open
house on Sunday! Many friends
and family members came to visit.
This was a very meaningful day
for residents. Thanks to all of the
volunteers and staff for making
this occasion a very special one.
