St. Boniface Separate School will be holding its concen the same eve- ning, at the same time. Admission is to bring along a non-perishable food item for donation to Blessings „Unlimited. Phone the school for tickets. Parents of High School Students attending tonight's Christmas Con- cert are also reminded to bring along a food item for donation. Curtain time is 7:30 p.m. Food Drive The Zurich Scouts and the Opti- mist Club will be going door to door in Zurich this Saturday De- cember 11 starting at 10 a.m. Any- one wishing to donate is asked to have something out and ready for the collection when they come. CWL The next St. Boniface CWL meeting will be on December 14 at 8 p.m. following holy hour and mass in the church, starting at 6:30 p.m. . Lions The Lions Club will be having their annual Santa Claus Day at the Zurich Community Centre on Sat- urday December 18. The program will star at 2 p.m. and promises lots of treats for the kids. There will be free movies, chocolate milk, and bags of candy to take home from Old St. Nick. The Lions will be holding their Ladies Christmas Party at the Do- minion Tavern Monday December 20 at 7 p.m. Each parry -goer is asked to bring along a gift to ex- change. Plans continue on the Lions and ptimists New Year's Eve family night at the Community Centre. Tickets are on sale for 525 per fam- ily or 515 for singles at J&L Varie- ty or from club members. Trip of the month Kay Webb of RR2 Zurich was the winner of the Trip of the Month Draw from the Zurich Chamber of Commerce. The December prize was 5500 for Christmas money. Personals The sympathy of the community is extended to the family of the late Ruby Neeb who passed away on Saturday. Congratulations to Darrel and Deb Gingerich of RR2 Zurich on the arrival of their baby boy on No- vember 28. John and Bern Denomme cele- brated their 53rd wedding anniver- sary on November 30. Hay Township employees and spouses enjoyed their Christmas dinner and party Saturday evening at Hessenland. LL The Centralia -Huron Park Santa Claus parade was held on Sunday. A surprise party was held for her on Sunday at the Circle K Ranch near London with her children and in-laws at- tending. On Monday some friends got together with her in the com- mon room at Spruce Villa Apart- ments to play cards and enjoy some birthday cake. Get well wishes are extended to Leila Becker who is a patient in the Stratford hospital. Many enjoyed the bus trip to Ni- agara sponsored by the Lutheran Church to view the Chri9nias lights and decorations.
