Marjorie A. Arthur ('Tomlinson) of Exeter in
her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Gra-
ham Arthur (1993) and dear mother and
mother-in-law of Iris Parks of California,
Jim and Elaine Tomlinson of Bayfield mid
Tom and Carol Arthur of Exeter. Dear
grandmother of Marc and Holly Tomlinson.
Diane Quarles, Debby, Cuda, Kendra and
Graham Arthur. Dear great-grandmother of
Cheriee, Vincent, Katherine and Jonathon.
Dear sister and sister-in-law of Alice and
Stewart Thiel of Zurich, Alma Jackson of
Chatham, Lenore and Alex Ellis of Vernon,
B.C. Predeceased by hei sister Irene and her
brother Sarn Lawson. Friends called at the
Hopper Hockey Funeral Home, William
Street, Exeter for visitation on Thursday
from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral ser-
vice was held on Friday, November 26,
1993 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. John Hilbom
officiating. Cremation with interment of ash-
y in Exeter Cemetery. Donations to the
Cancer Society or Palliative Care, Huron
VON would be appreciated by the family. A
Rebekah Lodge service was held at the Fu-
neral Home, Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m.

SPARLING • Rev. Harvey (retired teacher
of 35 years with the North York Board of
Education, Academic Dean and Professor of
Counselling at the Canada Christian Col-
lege); suddenly on Sunday, November 28,
1993, at the North York General Hosptnal; in
his 68th year. Survived by his wife Lillian;
son Stephen and his wife Cathie; grandchil-
dru, Christina, Robert and Amanda; sister
Hazel and her husband Jack Zavitz; and by
many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a
sister Nellie Parrish. Close friend of Peter
and Oriel MacCaull and children. He will be
greatly missed by all who knew him. Rested
at the Jerreu Funeral Home, 6191 Yonge
Street, North York (4 blocks south of
Steele). Service on Wednesday at 1 p.m.
from the chapel. Interment to follow. Dona-
tions to the North York General Hospital
