support the renovations of the public pool at the Lucan Com-
munity Centre through their various fundraising efforts. Mon-
day :evening, .:the big cheque was presented at the Knight's

the pool fundraising committee, Grand Knight Ted Toonders,
and Joe Garagozzo, who chaired the Knight's pool fundraising

Federated Women's Institutes of
Ontario Headquarters. Women's
Institutes of Ontario donated over
$700,000.00 to causes other than
their own.in the past year. Subdivi-
sions and/or Districts will be en-
couraged ,to establish .an Educa-
tional Committee .to organize
seminars or .workshops relating to
'lifeskills .to meet their particular
!needs. There we to be five work-
shops for fann women across the
,,province directed by the Agricultu-
ral Committee.
The Federated Women's Insti-

enniUljune 12,14, 1994, in Truro,
Nova "Scotia. The next Ontario
Conference will :be at Geneva

London Food Bank
LONDON - On Saturday, De-
cember 4 at 7:30 p:m. at Alumni
Hall, Orchestra London will
present a concert of pop and classi-
cal music with all proceeds being
donated to the London Food Bank.
Admission is just $2 with the do-
nation of a non-perishable food
item.
Conductor Brian Jackson will
host a selection of musical treas-
ures. Expect to hear everything
from classical favourites to show
