At .the Granton United Church on - Sunday, Pastor Normalic Voakes entitled her sermon "Only ten - but .counting" The lessons were form Genesis 18, lst Thessa- lonians 2 and Matthew 23. The choir sang the anthem "There is a -time." A. -Hal lowe'en party was enjoyed by the children with prizes and re- .freshments at the Mason's Hall on _Saturday afternoon sponsored by the Optimist Club. Pr ► ► ► • ► • • Sammeisfitp . • NO EXETER - Local grocery shop- pers in the Exeter area will be asked for their opinions on a host of new Our Compliments grocery products and invited to submit their own suggestions for more items when the second wave of products in the popular new line arrives here this week.. Local consumers will join shop- pers from across Ontario in a sam- pling program designed to give grocery buyers a real say in the products they purchase. Special sampling sessions will be held at pane ;ipating IGA, Knechtel, Food City, Price Chopper, Food Town, L&M, Valley Foods and Dutch Boy stores beginning October 28. In Exeter, Holtzmann's IGA will have the products on display for sampling. . The latest consumer sampling program is a continuation of the development process. It starts with three of the newest Our Compli- ments products -- pasta sauce, Italian -style flat bread and fruit juice cocktail. Other tests will fol- low. the program will continue un- til December 11. The second wave of Our Com- pliments, products include four pasta sauces, a pizza sauce, a va- riety of fresh pasta, versions of a traditional Italian -style flat bread, a selection of fruit juice cocktails and sparkling water beverages, a de-alcoholized beer, multi -grain chips, kettle -style potato chips, crackers and three flavors of cheesecake. Local shoppers will be invited to sample, the products and give their opinions on a survey form provided in participating stores.
