Starting Friday, October 15 at 6:30 p.m. and running every Fri- day and Saturday evening the end of the month, a group of 81 Oak- ridge students will descend on Panshawe Pioneer Village - Lon- don's only living history museum - with make-up, costumes, props, lights and musical instruments. Their job will be to scarf the liv- ing daylights out of visitors who are brave enough to try the Haunt- ed Village Heritage -- one-hour wagon rides around the village fea- turing encounters with witches, ghosts and other creatures of the night. "People can come and expect to be scared " say Sofie Licastro, 18, a Gra4i(13 Oakridge student who is heting coordinate the students involvement At the Village. "But the scenes aren't so scary that 1 wouldn't take my Brownie pack W the Village." Licastro says the students have several scenes planned. Each scene will last three to five minutes, and will require four hours of rehear- sal. It is the first time that the Vil- lage, which is located on .Fan- shawe Park Rd., east of Clarke Rd., has presented the haunted hayridob. They will be offered Fri- day and -Saturday nights during the weekends of October 15/16; 22/ 23; and 29/30. Wagon rides will pull-out of the parking lot, starting at 6:30 p.m. Face painting, spooky stories and refreshments will also be available in the parking lot.
