EXETER -' The South Huron La- dies Fastball League wrapped up its 1993 season on Saturday as the '12 teams competed in the final tournament. Despite the rain which cancelled all of the scheduled Friday night's gene, league officials were able to get the tournament completed late Saturday night. The LaBatters who captured the -ague title defeated the inn Girls on Saturday 7-5, to make it a dou- ble sweep with the - tournament crown. Taking home the 'B' league Utic was the Sundowners. The Down- town Dollies defeated Big 0 Sock- ettes on Saturday for the 'B' divi- sion of the tournament while the 'C' went to the South Huron Hospital who got past Chrissy's Playgirl ;. Men's tournament: After finish- ing first in the Exeter Men's SW - Pitch League standings, Strike Forlce \will take on ,Kirkton. in the opening gahne of rho ,g en's final tournament beginning Friday night. Strike Force complied. a 20-4.0 recgrd for 40 points which was just ahead of Murphy's 36 points and 34 by Ellison Travel.
