There -will be wine and cheese at 7 p.m., with the show beginning at 8 p.m. and coffee with desserts afterwards. There are still a few tickets left, so call 238-6801 or 238.8639 for yours. The monthly Guild meeting on September 22 will be held at the Thrrsty Fox Restaurant, with a special -guest, Doug Bale, theatre critic of the London Frei Press. The annual meeting on October 27 will be elec- tions, but members have already said goodbye to Guild President Mary Metcalfe, who is leaving this week, with her husband, for humanitarian work in China. The par- ish also welcomes a new organist, Loma Miller; who began practicing with the choir this week. The CWL meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 14, as an "Appreciation `Night" for all mem- bers; after the 7:15 p.m. Mass. The local chapter of the Order of Alhambra, Algarve «168 held their annual Labour Day collection after all weekend Masses in Forest and Grand Bend. All monies collected go toward the support of their char- ity, work for the mentally handi- capped. The pastor, Father Paul Beck wished all the summer visi- tors and cottage owners a Happy I1►articsgrving, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and Faster, until we see them again next summer.
