Lazaro Officiating. Cheri is the daughter of Don and Bet- ty etty Clarke of Huron Park and Mark is the son of Bi!! and Bonnie McNutt of RR 2 Credi- ton. The maid. of honour was Tammy -Haist, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were .Don- na Clarke, sister of the bribe, Jenifer• McNutt, . sister of the groom and Shannon Bird, -friend ofrthe bride. Flowergirl was Jackie Clarke, . niece of *the :bride. Best man was Paul Stewart, friend of the groom. . Ushers were Rick Schwartzentruber, uncle of *the groom, NormAitkens and Pat Williams, friends of the groom. Ringbearer was Kyle Schwartzentruber, nephew of the groom. Granton WI eqisy trip By Muriel Lewis GRANTON - David Denison of San Antonio is holidaying with his cousin Paul Harding for two weeks. Ross and Cathie Westman spent a few days on holidays at Tober- mory last week. Ron Riddell and family hosted the Eedy family reunion at their home on Sunday. Charlie Eedy as president conducted the business meeting and Doreen Eedy was the secretary. Bus trip The Granton WI and friends en- joyed a bus trip on Monday, July 26 to the authentic Dutch wind- mill, Folmar, near Bayfield ,which was constructed by Frank DeJong over the course of 17 years. It is believed to be the only working wind -driven sawmill left In North American. A grist mill has more recently been added on a higher level, in which more than a half ton of homegrown wheat was ground this season, which will be packaged and sold at the site. Fol- lowing dinner at the Candlelight restaurant in Goderich, the group had a guided tour of the Huron County Museum there. Then it was on to Wroxeter to visit the outstanding Gingerbread House of Dolls, over 3000 of them, dating from 1840 to the present day. At the St. Thomas' Anglican Church on Sunday, August 1, the Reverend Stephen Emery celebrat- ed the Holy Eucharist. His mes- sage was about seeking to know God's will, based on Psalm 143 which was written by David in his latter years. Service time next Sunday is 8:30 a.m. There was no service at the Granton United Church on Sunday but a number from the church at- tended the Anglican Church. The draw prize was won by - Len McNaughton. Lawton spoke on the Town and Country Homemakers Meals on Wheels/ Frozen Meal Programs. Games fol- lowed the meal in the North Hall. On July 13, Tammy Antaya was back from her holidays. A card was signed for Greta Lavender who has since moved to a nursing home in London. Draw prizes were won by Humphrey Arthur and Bob Dinney. At the July 20 meeting Jeanne Gladding was hostess while Tam- my was absent. Don Stuart played keyboard. The draw prize winner was Jenny Harris. Sue Hill was our speaker from Information Services for Seniors and Physically Dis- abled Adults. Her focus was on the new senior scene book and what others felcabout it. Juice' elestees. Maxine Sereda played keyboard. Birthday honours were sung to Pat Skinner, Grant Mills, Don Jolly, and Mary Funk. Everyone ex- pressed congratulations to those celebrating 39 years. Draw prize winner was Georgie Engler. Get well cards sem to Kay Hodgert and Joe Carter. Sympathy card was sent to Ken McNaughton. Thank you to Vi Tinney who en- tertained on keyboard.
