Marsha from the diploma
Nursing program, Strafford
Campus, Conestoga College.
Marsha is a former graduate
of McGillivray Central School
and North Middlesex District

Vacation Bible School
planned for Crediton
CREDITON - Plans for the an-
nual Vacation Bible School at
Zion Untied Church in Crediton
are well underway.
'The popular event begins on
Monday, August 9. Sessions will
begin at 9 am. and curt until
11.30 am. each•day and.canclude
onFziday of the same week.
Some volunteer .helpers are still
needed in a variety of capacities.
Anyone wishing to help should
contact director Jo -Anne Pickering

trip included the Calgary Stam-
pede, Hells' Canyon Tram Ride and
dinner, walk on. Capilano Suspen-

'Ferry Ride to Vancouver Island and
Butchart Gardens.
Continuing on they enjoyed the
Ride on Space Needle, Tour of Yel-
lowstone Park, Mount Rushmore,
Tour of Mitchell Corn Palace, Boys
Town, travelling into the Badlands
and city tours of Medicine Hat,
Vancouver, Victoria and Seattle.

The Responsive Reading was
taken from the Green Service
Book "The Soul Quieted in God",
Psalm 128 and 131.
The different leaders of the Va-
cation Bible School presented their
work. Monday night it was Birth-
day Island, Tuesday night it was
Thanksgiving Acres, Wednesday
night was about Christmas. Thurs-
day was Valentine Village and Fri-
day night was about Easter. A
child gave a Bible verse in connec-
tion with the group they were in
each night. There was an average
of 30 children out each night.
The Scripture reading was read
from Genesis 1: 24-27, and Ro-
mans 8: 26-39.
The tide of Rev. Allsop's sermon
was Themes From Vacation Bible
School."
The closing hymn was "For the
Healing -of the Nations", Rev. All-
sop pronounced the Benediction
and said the blessing before every-
one went downstairs for their BBQ
hot dogs and pot luck dessert.
Later there was a candy scram-
ble for the children.

Heywood reunion held
EXETER - Fifty people attended
the 25th Annual Heywood Reunion
on Sunday, July 11 at McNaughton
Park in Exeter.
