It was a lorregn affair last Friday as .iron's Club mem-
ber Joyce Eveland serves up lasagna to many hungry
travellers who stopped in Exeter as they proceeded to
their destinations as exchange students.
Queensway
residents
have outdoor
barbecue
HENSALL - Last Monday the
residents were -invited to the Grand
Cove Variety Show entitled "Re-
member When" at the Grand Bend
Legion.
Queensway would like to thank
Elva Forrest, Betty Simmons, Dams
Bestard and Elsie Mathers who vol-
unteered to help with the transpor-
tation.
Queensway residents participated
in Fun and Fitness last Thy
morning. Rev. Van Essen itpare,
formed the weekly church service
Tuesday afternoon. Everyone was
able to request singing a particular
favorite hymn.
On Thursday the first outdoor
barbecue of the summer season as
held. With the good weather, ham-
burgers and hot dogs were served
in the back yard. Later that day a
different group met for the Supper
Club. Many helped out making
chicken stir fry with . rice, then
cleaned up.

night
CENTRALIA - On Monday, July
12, the Sunday School hosted their
first "fun night" of the summer at
the McCurdy Public School. Teams
were made and a game of soccer -
baseball was played. Following lots
of good kicks, catches and fun, hot-
dttgs and pop were enjoyed. Next
fun night is scheduled for Monday,
August 9.
The Usborne Central School ball
diamond was action packet on
Thursday night as the Adults
braved the Youth Group in a game
of three -pitch. The Adults took a
strong lead, but the Youth quickly
made a comeback and kept the
score neck and neck until the last
minutes of the game when the
Adults pulled a close win. A wiener
roast followed at the home of Doug
and Cathy Prout. This evening was
a tribute to -all those who passed
from one grade to another this past
INM11141611r, as well as those who
gOilleilldinto high school and one
member of the Youth group who is
off to college in New York. We say
Asavo! to each one and we as
alldtdts arc very proud of you.
This Sunday the evening service
will beheld under the open skies at
the new church property. The sing-
ing group "Toe Gospel Lights"

PUBLIC MEETING CONCERNING A
PROPOSED ZONING BY-LAW
AMENDMENT
BAKE NOTICE that a Committee of the Council of the Corporation
of the Town of Exeter will hold a Public Meeting on the 11th day
of August, 1993, at 7:00 p.m., at the Exeter Municipal Building,
406 Main Street South, Exeter, Ontario, to consider a proposed
Zoning By-law Amendment under Section 34 of the Planning Act.
The proposed Zoning By-law would amend Section 3.19. of
Zoning By-law No. 30, 1978, A amended to prohibit the
establishment of an 'adult entertainment parlour' within the •
municipal limits of the Corporation of the Town of Exeter.
"Adult Entertainment Parlour -
means any premises or part thereof in which is provided
services of which a principal feature dr characteristic is the
nudity or partial nudity of any person."
.ANY PERSON may attend the Public Meeting and/or make
written,or verbal representation either in support of or in
opposition to the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION relating to the proposed Zoning By-
lawAmendment is available for inspection between 9:00 a.m.
-and 5:00 Tin. at the Exeter Municipal Office, 406 Main Street
South, Exeter, .Ontario.
