Camp is Fan. 1 would love to go camping without my sister and brother. 1 think I would like the camp because I can read a book .and I like reading books. 1 can go swimming. l can play games and malei new friends. New friends are nice. They are funny. They can teach me interesting things. They can tell me their names and I can tell them my name. We can be penpals. If I became a Camp Menesetung camper, 1 would be a friend to everyone. Queensway residents fiaketrip t1own memory lane AENSALL - The -Breakfast Club met and all who attended-. njoyed poached eggs on mast, ham, hashed -brown potatoes and coffee. Following breakfast monthly Resident Council meeting was held. Discussion surrounded _up- coming programs and r;aome.of the recent activities, which included a Strawberry Social where Mozart Gelinas and George Mathonia pro- vided the musical entertainment. following the Strawberry Social some birthdays were celebrated for the month of June. Residents en- joyed the musical entertainment of Ray Cann and company. June birth- day guests included Marg Coates, Lewis Clark, Marg Fremlin and Winnie Irving. Last weeks church service was performed by Shirley Luther from the Salvation Army who is a long- time friend of Queensway Nursing Home. The Queensway Baking Club met last week and prepared a double batch of carpoLAut muffins. Last Friday an informal afternoon tea was held. Residents took a trip down memory lane, as they remi- nisced about old attics and their treasures and also completed a triv- ia quiz from 1936. President Beatrice Martin wel- comed everyone. Agnes Macdonald of Exeter was the oldest person present. Six -month-old Cody Beyer, Kitchener was the youngest child, Rob Smale, Tillsonburg was the baldest man and Bill Mills, London won the candy guessing , contest. Greg and Deb Thiel were in charge of the children's games. The 1994 Reunion will be held at the Dashwood Pa'ilion.
