cle's annual Sunday School Picnic
was held on Wednesday night. The
grade eight graduates from McCur-
dy graduated that evening. Congrat-

The ladies were "busy bakers"
last week as a Bake Sale was held
at the Canadian Tire parking lot on

generous hospitality of the Exeter
Canadian Tire Management, .all
money received from the sale of the
baked goods will be added to the
Building Fund.
Schools out and to honour the ac-
complishment of passing, graduat-
ing and/or upcoming college enroll-
ment, and just plain working hard
at the books, there will be an eve-
, ningset aside •for them on Thursday
July 15.

PUBLIC OPEN HOUSE lit
The Grand Bend and Area Sewage Liaison Committee has initiated a study to determine a preferred
solution for providing sewage collection to unserviced areas of Grand Bend and portions of Stephen
Township. This study complements the Class Environmental Assessment study currently being pre-
pared by MM Dillon Limited on the sewage treatment plant.
This study is proceeding under the Class Environmental Assessment for Municipal Water and Waste-
water Projects. As part of the study, a Public Open House has been planned. Study information on
Phase 1 (Problem Definition) and Phase 2 (Alternative Solutions) will be presented in a display for
public review. Representatives from the Sewage Liaison Committee and their odnsultants, Gore &
Storrie Limited. will be available to answer questions and to discuss study information. If you wish
to_comment on the study, please plan to attend. '
