da Day celebrations.
"Where in Canada is Joe Clark?" is a contest added to the festivi-
ies by coordinator Rev. Bruce Pock, who says the aiin of the
ane is 10 increase knowledge about Canada both in history and ge•

did all village councillors. The picnic has been held indoors in recent years to avoid possible

ming lessons for the summer will
begin soon, and registration will be
held at the Zurich arena on June 30,
and July 5, from 7-8 p.m.. If you

The Bean Festival committee held
their last meeting on June 22, in
preparation for the event to be held

Lions Club Meeting
The Lions Club held their last
meeting for the summer on June 21.

group will once again have a booth
at the Zurich Fair July 23-25. They

Seniors Travel
Several seniors from the Zurich
area took part in the Tri -County
Seniors games held in Goderich
June 21 and 22. Many also attend-
ed the bus trip to Hamilton to see
the "Geritol Follies" last Friday.
Zurich Public School held their
grade 8 graduation last Thursday
evening with a dinner and banquet
for the students and their parents.
Special speaker was Al Taylor from
the Learning Resources Centre in
Clinton.

Pilgrimage dates at Our Lady of
the Rosary shrine in St. Mary's will
be on July 2, 13, 16, and August 13
to 22. Mass will begin at 11:00
a.m. Procession saying the rosary
around the shrine is at 1:30 p.m.

blessing of the sick. Please bring
