Exeter Express struggle, lose two senior games
LONDON - A leadoff singlt in
the bottom of the ninth inning by
Tara Kabara who eventually scored
the winning run, was the difference
Friday night as the visiting Exeter
Express were edged 11-10.
The loss saw the Express' Great
Lakes Senior Baseball League
record drop to 2-5-1 which they
tried to improve upon last night
whey they hosted Strathroy at the
Alvin Willert Field.
Against Lakeside, the visitors
trailed 3-0 after three innings but
they battled back and got a couple
in the top of the fourth as Scot Rus-
sell led of with a single and moved
when Marty Memer walked.
