The loss saw the Express' Great Lakes Senior Baseball League record drop to 2-5-1 which they tried to improve upon last night whey they hosted Strathroy at the Alvin Willert Field. Against Lakeside, the visitors trailed 3-0 after three innings but they battled back and got a couple in the top of the fourth as Scot Rus- sell led of with a single and moved when Marty Memer walked. Glover, hieing in the ninth posi- tion had a good game at the plate with three singles while Russell had a double and a pair of base hits. ' Strathroy 16, Exeter 7 About the only bright spot of last Tuesday night's game in Exeter was Gregus who collected three of the hosts nine hits as the outfielder had a third inning triple, a single in the fifth and a double in the sev- enth inning. Gregus scored three of Exeter's seven runs. Scot Davidson started on the mound for the Express but he struggled, giving up six walks in three innings before giving way to Brent O'Brien and then Russell.
