Creeping Charlie can be a very persistent and annoying weed in home lawns. This weed can be recognized by it's creeping square stems and it's round leaves. The round leaves have scal- loped edges and sometimes appear purple. Often Creeping Charlie has flowers like tiny purple snapdragons. Creeping Charlie reproduces by seed, plus has the ability to root at every break along the stem. This weed grows very low to the ground and is very aggressive. Creeping Charlie can be controlled by combining a quality weed control programme applied in both spring and fall, with proper lawn maintenance practices. Next Week: How much to water?
