Lies Parkview Place news
LUCAN - A social evening was
lseldat•Parkview place on April 12.
Hostess was Shirley Mason, with
Jo Club and Chris Hall.
The seniors have decided to have
a Yard Sale on June 19 so everyone
was asked to save their treasures as
they did their housecleaning. The
plan is to combine this with a bake
and craft table. Also in the works is
a strawberry social in June.
Entertainment for the evening
was the music of Murray Christie
fr
and Mary F. Dow. Murray's wife
Margaret was with them and all en-
joyed meeting her and listening to
the songs of yesteryear.
After the music ended, everyone
made a paper hat with paper plates
and ribbon provided by Jo Clubb.
The "best hat" was given to Ruby
Morley for her portrayal of Minnie
Pearl; door prize won by Lil
Dobbs.
The evening closed withcoffee
and birthday cake.

from the Ausable-Bayfield Conser-

stop erosions and to beautify and
provide future shade on the
grounds. A thank you to all con-

ing for the trees. A very welcome
sight!
Our condolences to the family of
the late Eileen (Frieda) Gemein-

the home the past seven years and
formerly a resident of Bayfield.
A thank you to John Patrick of
RR 2, Zurich for donating his time
to bus residents to their appoint-
ments and to take wheelchair resi-
dents for walks in the warm spring
air, at least we hope for warm
spring air.
The residents look forward to a
visit with their Buddies from St.
Boniface School on April 27.
Just a reminder, the Home Auxil-
iary are holding the Spring Bake

1993 from 2-3:30 p.m. There will
be a silent auction on a quilt, a cake
draw and lots of bargains. So come

for equipment----
