One of the side effects of stopping smoking Is a dizzy ,
feeling occurring one or two times a day for a few
days. this Is because the body Is adjusting to finally
receiving normal supply of oxygen.
There are different methods to measure body temperature: orally, rectal-
ly and axillary (arm pit). The average time the thermometer should be ,
kept in place and the average normal temperature varies from place to
'place: oral: 4 min. (37 degs. C); rectal: 2 min. (37.5) ; axillary: 7 min.
(36.4).
Have trouble swallowing pills? Try this: place pill In your mouth and
drink liquid from a pop bottle. This seems to create a reflex In the throat
that keeps nervousness from Interfering with pIII-swallowing.
April is Cancer Month. Lung cancer Is one of the most preventable
forms of cancer. How? By stopping smoking! If you are still a smoker,
make this month your month to stop.
