Diners meet

ZURICH - The Zurich Senior
Diners met March 24 with a good
attendance. Tammy Antaya wel-
comed all diners and visitors and
informed there of upcoming
events.
Nora Corrtveau won the 50-5()
draw. Gertic Fleisclrauer read a
Vain Spring Showers. Gertic in-
4roduced two students from St.
iBonifacc Catholic School, Zurich
swho entertained the diners with
speeches. Sarah Vermont The ler-
•ry Fox Run and Kathy Regier Pio-
neers of Huron County. Four tables
of euchre and solo wasenjoyed.

Reschke, Caitlin Russell, Amanda Wilds and Amanda Zeher

CWL dimes upcoming events
GRAND BEND - The Immacu-
tate Heart of Mary Council of 'the
Catholic Women's League encu re-
cently in the Parish Centre, follow-
ing Mass in the Church. President
Cathy Vrolyk chaired the business.
She thanked members Lia Vanden-
berk, Josie Britian and Annie
1 Orootjen, who represented the
C.W.L. at World Day of Prayer on
March 5. Tillie VanLeeuwen re-
ported that Meals on Wheels for
March is running smoothly with
enough volunteers. All members
were reminded to return their nomi-
nation forms for a new slate of offi-
cers to be elected at the April meet-
ing.
Correspondence was read by
Anne Grootjens. An invitation was
received to attend the March 17 St.
Patrick's Potluck dinner at Sacred
Heart Church hosted by the Park-
hill C.W.L. They also invited the
C.W.L. to.their third Annual Bowl-
ing Event in Parkhill, on April 14.
Christian Family Life Convener Lia
Vandenberk recommended a five
week course "Me, Myself and I"
which promotes good mental health
for women.
The Grand Bend C.W.L. will be
entertaining at the Zurich Blue Wa-
ter Rest Home on April 19, with the
Grand Bend Brownies invited.

Father Beck would like to en-
courage the growth of .a Bible
Study group, .to .meet weekly after
the Wednesday Mass at 10 am. A

who joins the church through RCIA
at the Easter Vigil Celebration -
four new members are being pre-
pared.
The next meeting will be tield on
Tuesday, April 20, with elections
