Many people, both young and old in the Varna area took part and some were winners. Jason Beier - ling took first place for the third year in a row, winning his third crokinole board in the Junior divi- sion. Bill Hayter, grandson of Mery and Marg Hayter also won first in the Intermediate Division, winning a crokinole board. Meghan Hayter, Mery and Marg's granddaughter won fourth place winning a croki- nole book by Wayne Kelly. In the senior division, Heather Beierling won fourth prize which was also a crokinole book. Joe Fu - lop, a member of the Varn, : Croki- nole Club, took first place in the adult division in the tournament and ended up in fourth place for the playoffs. Special mention to Ivan McClymont, who placed fifth in the tournament : out id approximately 70 players .in the adult division. Others in the area took part and en- , joyed the day.
