ers single game, most pins over av-
erage award Sunday at Etobicoke.
Laura bowled 146 pins over her
100 league average with a 246
game and paced the Zurich ladies
team to third place as she finished
with a 507 triple and a whopping
207 pins over for the three games.
Her best previous game was 183
with a 391 triple.
The Zurich ladies team of Laura,
nine-year-old Jenny Hardy, plus 22,
Golden Agers Jean Simpson from
Grand Coves and Grand Bend's
Dorothy Cutting, with 22 pins over
and seven under respectively, fin-
ished with 244 pins over their com-
bined team average, finishing just
55 pins behind first place Welland
and a trip to the National in Cal-
gary.

ciation (O.F.P.B.A.) and Zurich

The Zurich' Bowlers' Association
National Classified winning men's
team Sunday includes Ed Mommer-
steeg, with a 1,065 five game score,
Larry Smith, 952, Doug Smith Jr.,
1,101, Bill Coleman, 952, and Ger-
ry Thiel, 928, in the completed
house round Sunday at Town and
Country.
The top ladies team includes
Anne Finlay, 990, Mary MacDon-
ald, 829, Laurie Stanlake, 919, Pat
Palen, 1,200 and Bev Cregan with
1,182.
Both Zurich Association teams
now advance to the National Clas-
sified Regional finals April 3 at
Collingwood.
O.F.P.B.A. Youth Challenge
The O.F.P.B.A. Ontario Youth
Challenge Championships are tak-
ing place March 11-14 in an

LUCAN - The Lucan Lanes will
be hosting the Bowling Proprietors
of Canada Tournament, this Satur-
day, March 13, 1993. This tourna-
ment will advance an all five man
team to the Regional Finals. The
Regionals will be held at the St.
Thomas Lanes on April 3, 1993.

Last week I was telling you about
Bob Smith bowling a 425 on the
Thursday Night Men's League.
Well on the Friday Night Mixed,
Chris Smith bowled a 420.. Con-

Pf ;Black Tower Team tournament
P' This Sunday the Black Tower
Team tournament will be held at
Lucan Lanes. The six teams will
bowl a total pins over teams aver-
age. Teams advancing on will go to
the Black Tower Provincial 5 Pins
' Championship Regional Finals on
April 18, 1993.
CSC rolloff -
This past Sunday the C.B.C.
Rolloff was held at Fleetway 40 -
London. The 80 man singles
bowled scratch bowl for a total of
15 games.
Bob Smith of Lucan bowled an
outstanding 15 games totaling
3968, an average of 204.8. Bob fin-
ished ninth out of the 80 singles,
and one of Bob's games was a 327.
Congratulations Bob on a job
well done.
