K of C Free Throw Two from ZPS advance EXETER - Zurich Public School will be well represented at the Knights of Columbus Basketball Free Throw Competition's regional event this Saturday in Stratford. Among the approximately 80 shooters who are expected to take part, will be Zurich's Brad Brown and Jeff Lovie. At the South Huron District High School on Saturday, Brown won the district event as he had 18 -of - 25 in the 13 year-old category while Lovie hit 15 -of -25 to take the 11 year-old division. Jeff MacLean from Usbome Township School won the 13 -year- old group with 14 -of -25 while Strathroy's Joshua Calder won the boys 14 year-old group with 16 -of - 25. Winning the boys 10 year-old group was Bryan Stuckless with 10 -of -30. Carmen Kelly of St. Pat's won the 14 year-old girls division as she hit 21 -of -35 in a tie breaker. Hen- sall's Julie Rooseboom won the girls 13 year-old with 18 -of -25. Jennifer Regier of Mt. Carmel won the 12 year-old with 13 -of -25 and Laura Seliske won the girls 11 year-old with 7 -of -25. Precious Blood's Cecile Maes was the best in the girls 10 year-old category as she hit 8 -of -30. Blackwood set the pace with 147 pins above her Wednesday ladies league 105 average with games of 134, 187 and 141 while Baker add- ed 11 pins over her 216 average with a 659 triple.
