With deep concentration, Josh Stewart (!eft) and Homer Tay-
lor work as a team to assemble their Valentine craft. Last
Thursday evening the Beavers from the First Hensall Colony
visited the residents of the Queensway Nursing Home. Each
Beaver was paired with a "senior friend" to share in the activi-
ty. Polaroid photos of the Valentine duos were atteached to a
paper heart frame. Right, Beaver Ryan Campbell shows the
partially complete craft to his Valentine, Gladys Wein.

College in Tomato.
After receiving his Masters of Di-

M. 0. Ogarekpe, writing in the
February, 1992 issue of the Presby-

the mosquitoes and malaria. With a
nubmer of malarial bouts, some of
which cause us real concem, he
braved them all and immuned him-
self like the rest of us to the attacks
of tropical diseases.

"In the office, he undertook the
job of the personnel officer, secre-
tary, counsellor and preacher.
Shakespeare would say the whole
world was mixed in this one man.
Yet, he also learned to heckle and
yell like the Nigerians do, and very
effectively, too."
In the fall of 1992 he moved back
to Canada and assumed the position

New ways of extending the length of action of
drugs are on the market. Imagine a tablet covered
with a membrane which gradually swells over 24
hours as it comes in contact with Intestinal fluids.
With expansion, the drug moves out through the side walls of the tab-
let leaving an empty shell which Is eliminated through the bowels.
Dose? Once daily, of course.
What is Vitamin 8-12? It Is important for the production of healthy red
blood cells by the bone marrow. A lack of this vitamin can cause per-
nicious anemia. Good sources of 13-12 Include shellfish, sardines, sal-
mon, herring, egg yolks, dairy products and liver.
if you are a diabetic or have other conditions that cause poor circula-
tion, do not use foot products containing salicylic acid to treat coms
and calluses. You should never try to cut them off either.
A reminder to diabetics that insulin can be kept at room temperature
for one month and still retain potency. Keep extra bottles in the fridge
but do not freeze.
