Queensway residents keep fit HENSALL - The residents at Queensway began the week with Fun and Fitness and some mental aerobics. The Kippen United Church Women sponsored the Monday afternoon•b rgo. Reverend Verhoog from Exeter led us in our weekly church ser- vice. Phyllis Desjardine provided the musical accompaniment Tues- day evening the Christian Re-. formed Singers visited the residents and sang a number of favourite hymns and did some readings for them. Preparations began this week for Valentine's Day. Residents gath- ered in the Activity Room and made bouquets of valentines with pipe cleaners and tissue paper. The valentine bouquets arc decorating the dining room tables. The Baking Club met Friday af- ternoon and created a double batch of shortbread. They cut the cookies into heart -shaped designs and deco- rated them with red sparkles. The residents nibbled on a few with af- ternoon tea, just to be sure they tasted alright. The rest were frozen for one of the upcoming Valentine's parties later this week.
