WOW! Have holidays
ended with a bang in our
home! ! would have as-
sumed, but I must remem-
ber to assume nothing, that
with two weeks away
from school, surely, not all
assignments would be left
until the last two days of
the holidays for comple-
tion. How wrong could l bc? The better parts of Saturday and
Sunday (thankfully the rain never did let up) have been spent
with the computer tied up typing one paper atter another! I
think Canadian youth should take lessons from those you see
in Eastern Europe, learning to queue up early, instead of bel-
lowing at one another to hurry and finish so that another could
get going. (Where do they Team procrastination, anyway?
Surely not from their well organized patents!) I can only won-
der what would have happened if there had been a power fail-
ure, a lot of prayers would have gone lathe Almighty asking
for a ;~ow day Monday!
For the most part these hav5been attMflc'two.weeks.`This
Christmas will go down in the family history as one of the fun-
niest, and all because of a very polite daughter and her polite
thank you for one of the ugliest pairs of egrrings any set of
grandparents could have found! Actually, my father made
them out of some scraps he found in his workshop, and they
were meant as a joke, but that was not known until later! But
that is really another story and as that same daughter is known
to say, "You had to be there!".
Andnow3arrapology army husband, here goes, (I remind
'myself a little well a lot, of Fonzie on Happy Days), "S-S-S-

while we were away:and he came up with the tightrecipe. I
humbly apologize in print (This may never...may never, I can
almost guarantee will never...happen again!)
