A Special Little Christmas Eve
Christmas
By Cherisse Knip
Hensall P.S. Grade 6
One Christmas Day the snow lay
on the ground, bells ringing, chil-
dren singing. Families altogether
waiting to open presents under the
Christmas tree. Our whole Knip
family was enjoying our little
Christmas party. My Aunt Dita and
Uncle Fred came with the baby to
celebrated with us. My Uncle John
and Aunt Cathy came from North
Carolina to celebrate with us too.
As soon as everyone was together
all the Aunts and Mothers went to
the kitchen to cook the great food.
The Uncles and Fathers played their
card games. All the cousins and kids
put on their snow suits and played
on the big snow hill. When it was 6
everyone got washed and sat down
at the table. Food was placed on
their plates and everyone ate up.
After dinner was finished every-
one was given a present from our
Grandparents. After that we sang
carols and if you heard it, it would
ring in your ears. Then it was time
to go home.

A woman named Mrs. S. Claus,
Deserves to be heard from be-
cause,
She sits in her den,
Baking gingerbread men
While her husband gets all the
applause.

Christmas Blizzard
By Nikolas Jeromkin, Grade 4
Our Lady of Mt. Carmel
One night there was a blizzard and
two robbers came, so 1 threw orna-
ments at them. Then they chased
•me, so I hid in Frosty the Snow-
man's hat. But they found me and
chased me to the store. I pushed
some Christmas trees over on top
Of liters. In a few minutes, the po-
lice got there and put them in jail.
And that was my weirdest Christ-
mas blizzard!

On Christmas Eve Santa rides
With his reindeer through the skies
When Santa lands on the roof
He goes down the chimney in a
pool.
The reindeer were on the house
Until they saw a little mouse
When he saw the reindeer run
he thought he'd ha%e a little fun.
So he ran roof to root
Until he fell and went caboof
The reindeer came back
And grabbed his sack.
He ran and jumped in the sleigh
And said that was enough tor the
day.

Goofy's Christmas
By Tony Ens
Exeter P.S., Grade 2
Goofy was chopping down his
Christmas tree. When it was going
to fall, he saw a bird and he goi
crushed. When he was putting his
Christmas lights up, he got carried
away by Rudolph. Rudolph took
him to St. Nicholas, St. Nicholas
taught him how to be smart. When
Rudolph took him back home, he
had the best house on the block.
When it was Christmas Eve, Santa
Claus came to Goofy's house. Max,
his son, got the video game he
wanted.

He's big, he's small,
He's short and tall,
He's fat and thin,
He has no chin,
His beard is white,
He flies at night,
He's the light.
That's in the night
That shines so bright.
