Twas the night before Christmas
and all through the cage
The door was open! My hamster's
on a rampage!
We searched the whole house, we
searched high and Loy
But we t adn't looked through
Mother's delicious bread dough
We ran to the kitchen, we ran like
a flash
Bumped into the cupboard and
knocked over the trash.

Christmas Wish
By Kimberely Forrest
Hensel! P.S. Grade 6
One cold winter night 1 went to
peek in Benji's room to ask if he
wanted to play basketball in my
bedroom. Then all of a sudden Ben
is making a long Christmas list, so 1
went into Benji's room and Ben
said "As soon as I finish my Chnst-
mas list", and Kimberly said, "Ok.
Then I went to my bedroom and I
was playing basket ball until Ben
came to my room.
Ben wrote 24 ideas for Christmas
presents: Theft I dropped my mouth
tiara Ben is finished tallcing. After
Beni finished talking to me we start-
ed playing basketball.
When the game was over Ben
had beat me and the score was 20
to I2. Then I made a Christmas list
and I finished my Chnstmas ideas.
And I made about 13 Chnstmas
ideas altogether. Then I went to
work on craft for my grandmother
for a Christmas present -then I
dreamed about Christmas. Next I
said that Chnstmas is the best holi-
day forever.

A Christmas Wish
By Missy Tomkinson Green
Hensel! P.S. Grade 4
There were 3 days before Chnst-
mas. The elves were very busy
making toys. Suzan was out with
her mom getting presents for Toni -
my, Tina and her father. Her dad
was getting the tree. As soon as
Suzan got home her mom said
"Suzan will you do your Christams
list?" "OK mom!" Suzan went o
her room.
She got some paper and she
started to write. TO SANTA._. I
would iike to see Rudolph the red
nose reindeer's baby . That's all I
want for Christmas.
"Suzan supper". Suzan walked to
the table. -She saw that she was
having stuffing, turkey and pota-
toes. At the same time .Rudolph
was playing on the snow at the
North Pole. Suzan went to bed and
started to dream. That night the
elves were shining up the sleigh.
Suzan got up and got dressed for
school. When school was over Su-
zan went to her Advent calendar
and got a chocolate. There were
days left. After supper time Suzan
went to bed. The next day she ran
dower stairs and jumped on her
moni and dad. When she opened
her present she found a baby Ru-
dolph. Suzan was very happy that
she got her Christmas wish.

SRDWMINS
By Marcia Coulter
Our Lady orMt. Carmel
I was sitting there in a deep drift of
snow,
Making snowballs ready to throw.
When up came a sleigh, I thought,
"What a weird guy,"
Riding a sleigh with all this snow
in the sky.
I threw a snowball as hard as my
bed,
It knocked him right out on his fat
little head.
I tan to the guy saying "sorry oh
sorry„
I didn't have an excuse so 1 made
up a story.
"I didn't mean to” I started to say,
Then something took my words
away.
His clothes were all red from his
head to his toe,
He was fat and jolly and 1 said, "Oh
no!"
Had I snowed Santa? Oh it made
me shiver,

This will be my biggest and best

warm water more than clothes and
toys! Well it will be no more snow
