in Zurich
Kevin Jeffrey got the ball into play during the Zurich Men's
Recreation Hockey League's annual sports weekend which in-
cluded both volleyball and hockey. There were 20 mixed vol-
leyball teams which competed while a dozen rec hockey
teams faced off. Below, the Wings battle Mt. Carmel in one of
the Sunday afternoon games.

Bluewater 5 Pin Bowl-
, ers' Association has
announced it :will be
hosting the OnWrio Five Pin Bowl-
ers' Association Youth Challenge
Regional rolloffs January 10 at
Goderich Little Bowl.
Grand Valley, Maple Hills and
Grey -Bruce O.FP.B.A. zones will
be providing the opposition for the
Bluewater zone ladies, men's and
mixed teams.
The three divisional winning
teams in. the five gime O.F,P.B.A
Regional match play format at
Goderich will advance to the
O.FP.B.A. • provincial ctLampipn-
ships during .the Ontario—Winter
Games Manch 11-14 in a centre
designated by.the tY.FP,B.A.
Sleeman Holiday Classic Tourna-
ment league qualifying rounds arc
underway in Bluewater bowling
centres between December 7 and
20. The top five pins over average
qualifiers for every 15 bowlers en-
tered, will leen, a Sleeman league
team and advance to the Sleeman
house round.
