of the Ontario Five Pin Bowlers'
Association (O.F.P.B.A.) Youth
Challenge tournament will begin
at 11 a.m. Sunday at Seaforth
Lanes.
Upon completion of theBluewa-
ter Assoc. 5 games qualifying roll -
offs the top 5 ladies and the top 5
men shall form the Bluewater la-
dies and men's teams. The next
two men and ladies along with the
next highest qualifier will makeup
the Bluewater mixed team.
All three Bluewater teams will
be coached by level two Bluewa-
ter coaches in the O.F.P.B.A. Re-
gional Jan. 17 at a O.F.P.B.A. ap-
proved location.

Association zone rolloffswill start
at 9 a.m. Sun. Nov. 29 at Mount
Forest and Listowel lanes, The fi-
nal 10 games of the Stroh's Blue -

Zurich Town and County and
Clinton Crown lanes. Stroh's en-

ter centres.

Our two events carrying the Slee-
man banner will be die Stroh's
Open and the Sleeman Holiday
Classics, in addition Sleeman will
be sponsoring the Stroh's M.B.A.O.
Mixed Doubles.
The Sleeman Holiday Classics
has one major change this year, and
that is this tournament is open to
all bowlers.
The Sleeman Brewing and Malt-
ing Company, and the O.F.P,B.A.
presents the 1993 Stroh's Ontario
Open. There will be two zone fi-
nals. First one held at the B&D
Lanes, Strathroy on December 6,
and the second at the St Thomas
Lanes, St. Thomas, on December
13. Registration is at 9:00 a.m.

9:30. This tournament is open to
male and female bowlers. You
have to 19 years of age as of De-
cember 31, 1992.

The weekend of November 6-8,
the Ninth Annual Hiram Walker
"Special Old" Executive 5 Pin
Championship was held. We would
like to congratulate Sandy Newton
of Toronto for winning an all -
expense -paid trip to Florida and a
set of luggage. Sandy bowled very
well with a 191 over her average.
On Sunday, November 1 the
Lucan -Lanes held their Rihim
Walker Executive Bowl. The tour-
nament consists of league presi-
dent, secretaries, treasurers. The
three bowlers to advance to the Na-
tional League Executive (P.S.T.) in
Kitchener on January 30, 1993 will
be president Don Morgan, secre-
tary Dave Smith, treasurer Marg

It's Tournament time
TIENSALL - November is tournament :titnc in thiratta and while lite
Bill Batten Memorial Tournament Just wrapped .up, get /study for the An-
nual Exeter and District Ringette Association >tournament >and a midget
hockey tournament in Zurich.
Beginning at 6'p,m. on Friday at the Hensall Arena, the Exeter 'Bunnies
will take on Seaforth in an exhibition game while anotheresxhibition game
will put the Exeter Ladies against Dorchester at 9 p.m. .
Regular tournament action begins: Saturday 'morning '`in the novice divi-
sion when Exeter takes on Goderich at 9 a.m. That is followed by Exeter
petities against Forest. At 6p.m. the local novices face Chathamand thea
the petites play Lambeth at7 p.m. All those games are in Hensall.
In Exeter at the South Huron Recreation Centre on Saturday, the Exeter
tweens face Cambridge at 9 a.m. and at 1 p.m. the juniors go against Wal-
kerton. At 4 p.m. the tweens meet Walkerton<and the juniors are against
Forest at 8 p.m.
On Sunday in Exeter, it's the petities against Dorchester at 10 a.m. and at
noon the tweens play Ripley. The juniors play Lambeth at 2 p.m. At 10
am. in Hensall, the novice team plays Ripley.
There are 24 teams in the tournament which will have final; games in
Hensall beginning at noon on Sunday.
Midget tournament: The Zurich Thunder Challenge begins on Satur-
day at.3 p.m. when the locals: take on Mt. Brydges followed by Exeter
Bears and Thedford at 4:30 p.m.
Consolation final of the two-day event goes Sunday at 3 pan. followed
by. the. championship game at 5 p.m.
