Tammy Angele Therese Dann,
daughter of Cecile and Gra-
ham Dann, Petrolia and Rob-
ert Dean McKnight, son of
Joanne and Dean McKnight,
Exeter were united in mar-
riage on September 26, I
1992 at St. Philip's Catholic
Church, Petrolia with Father
White officiating. Maid of hon-
our was Denise Ulch, Corun-
na. Bridesmaids were Ann
Tousignant, Wyoming, Jenni-
fer Wilson and Christine
Trairs, Petrolia all friends of
the bride, Deanne McKnight,
Exeter, sister of the groom
and junior bridesmaid Crystal
Dunn, Petrolia, niece of the
bride. Trainbearers were Sta-
cey and Lindsey McKnight,
Harriston, cousins of the
groom. All friends of the
groom, best man was Shawn
Moore, ushers were Steve
Lightfoot, Mike Rader, Daryl
McCann and Laurie Chalmers
and Steve Dunn, nep w of
the bride. After a honemoon
in the Toronto -Niagara region,
Rob and Tammy returned to
their new home in Corunna.
Our thanks to everyone who

Tammy and Rob.

and Marie Fingler of Winfield
B.C. and Michael Joseph, son
of Greg and Jean Fleming of
Mt. Carmel exchanged wed-
ding vows in Our Lady of
Mount Carmel Church with Fr.
J. Bagatto officiating. Follow-
ing a short honeymoon the
-couple will make their home
in Dundas

DASHWOOD - The October
meeting was held at the home of
Mary Fee.
The meeting opened . with the-

heMeaning of Thanksgiving and a skit
"The Big Turkey Hunt" involving
all the members.
The roll call - a luxury item your
parents didn't have - was answered
by 16 members and six visitors.
The fall rally at Brussels was at-
tended by six members and the -re-
port was given by Katharine Becker.
Correspondence included a thank
you from the Dashwood Minor Ball
Association and from the South Hu-
ron Hospital Association.
The meeting concluded with two
readings - "Going Down to Grand-
pa's House" by Aldene Wolfe, and
a Thanksgiving Poem by Dorothy
Restemayer followed by a delicious
lunch.
Nine tables of euchre
Euchre was held at the Communi-
ty Centre. The winners were: lady
with the most lane hands - Shirley
Marlene, man with the most lone
hands - Hugh Morenz, high lady -
Annie Morenz, high man - Emil
Becker, low lady - Gertie Stade, low
man - Lloyd Eagleson.

DASHWOOD - On Monday 35
seniors enjoyed a pot luck dinner
at the hall
The entertainers for the evening
were Sharon Parker on the piano
and her children Sara, Justine and
Ben sang and played.
Garry Kline with Billy Kline and
Chrissy Parker sang a three part
song.
Readings were,given by Dorothy
Restemayer, Doreen Lightfoot, Al-
dene Wolfe and Velma Russell -
Going to Grandmas. Thanksgiving,
Hallowe'en, Try Smiling, Nuts,
Loose and Tight, and Electrically
Speaking.
After the meeting, many enjoyed
euchre and solo.
Staff a by Roberta Templeman
STAFFA - Hats and wigs were
prominent when Staffa Women's
Institute members gathered for
their Hallowe'en party last
Wednesday afternoon in the town-
ship hall.
Joyce Miller presided opening
with the Institute Ode and Mary
Stewart Collect, with Margaret
Kemp accompanying on the piano.
Miller then gave a reading "In This
World".
Members answered the roll call
by giving a Hallowe'en Idea and
Lillian gave some vegetable stor-
age hints. Miller reported on the
rally which she and Doris Miller
had attended.
Grace Kerslake was unable to be
present to give her report on the
London Arca Convention.
Margaret Kemp reported on the
Chicken and Egg 4H meeting
which she had attended, when
Barb McCaughey presented a vid-
eo on the St. Marys Campbell
Soup plant.
Freda Kerslake demonstrated
making Mr. and Mrs. Corn from
corn cobs and cheese pumpkins.
Members were reminded of the
dessert euchre at Carlingford
Women's Institute Hall on Monday
November 2 at 12:30, and also the
New Years Levi on January 3,
which Hibbert Council are hold-
ing. The Tweedsmuir committee
have been asked tor set up a dis-
play. -
Miller reminded everyone of the
Citizenship and Legislation meet-
ing November 25, with the Branch
Directors planning the program
and Esther Smale hosting. Follow-
ing the singing of 0 Canada, Kay
Smalc and Roberta Templeman
served pumpkin pie and a cup of
tea.

Exeter PS elects council
New Student Council at the Exeter Public School are, President Sunny Dinney,
Amber Oakes; Secretary Julie Darling; Vice -President Dave Farquhar.
Lucan Lion's Parkview Place
LUCAN - The residents of Parkview Place had their monthly social eve-
ning October 13 by having an evening of bingo. It was well attended and
many prizes were won. A luncheon was served and a birthday cake was
cut for the birthday people.
The Knights of Columbus held their first euchre party of the year on the
third Thursday of the month. This also had a good turnout as it is for the
entire area.
Last Wednesday 41 plates was served in the common room for a turkey
supper. The Lucan Anglican Church provided a very enjoyable meal. Lat-
er in the evening they had the pleasure of having Mary F. Dow from
Mitchell on organ and Murray Christie from Russeldale on sax entertain
us with their music and sing song.
The residents provided well for the trick or treatnight
