'World festival held in Kirkton Saturday. The multicultural
event was well enjoyed by those who attended, but organizers
were a bit disappointed at the low turnout (about 100) for the
day.

EXETER - The afternoon unit of
Exeter United Church met on Octo-
ber 8 with president Marian Dou-
gall presiding. The purpose was re-
peated and the president read .a
poem speaking to God.
A memorial service was held for
the ladies who passed away sinc
January: Anna Ballantyne, Ger-
trude Hamilton, Gladys Hern,
Madeline Witmer and Velma Huff.
Five ladies each deposited a flower
in a vase for each one.
The new staff assoaiaas Rev. Par-
sons spoke briefly. His wife is Mar-
ilyn and his son is Matthew.
The minutes were rand along

report. Quilting began Monday, No
1993 calendars were ordered. Ma-
vis Aubill brought greetings from

lights from Leighton Geatre.

Hicks, Laura Sillery, Marion Mill-
er, Mildred Thomson spoke on be-
ing thankful.
On September 10 meetings,
guests was Carol Gingench who
along with her husband spent sever-
al years in Ethiopia at the Christian
Blind Mission.

J State the job title, a brief description of the.
responsibilities - and the results you achieved.
U The next section of your resume should come under the
sub -heading of "Education' . Start with the highest
degree obtained or grade completed, followed by the
name of the institution at which you studied. Follow
this with previous education attainments. At the end,
list any specific instructional courses you have
attended in conjunction with your work.
U Under the sub -heading "Affiliations", list memberships
and/or offices held in professional or industry
associations.
J Under the sub -heading "Personal Interests" list any
activities which you feel will be of interest to the
employer - such as volunteer work, etc.
