ron -Perth regular ~on with an
undefeated 9-0-1 record as they
won a pair of games list Tuesday
in St. Marys.

are on the go right now

ZURICH - Three Hiram Walker Special Old Ontario Five, Pin Bowlers'
Association tournaments will get under way this week in Bluewater Five
Pin Bowlers' Association zone bowling centres.
The Special Old High Low Doubles entry is this week with the popular
Special Old five week league qualifying round starting Oct. 26 and the
zdhe f6110-irs. begin Jan.10. -
Entry deadline for the Special „Old National League Executive Tourna-
ment is Oct. 26. All league presidents. secretaries and treasurers are eligi-
ble to compete in the league finals from Nov. 9-15 at Bluewater Associa-
tion centras. Entry deadline for Utas is Oct. 25.
Bluewatrcr, Goderich Lime Bowl and Zurich Association executives can
compete in the provincial finals on Nov. 7 in Toronto. The OFPBA Hall of
Fame Induction Dinner follows in the evening.
The Grand Bend Golden Agers Club will be bowling Monday at 9:15
a.m. at Zurich Town and Country races and everyone age 55 -and -overs
welcome.
Two bowlers from Lunch did well, at Ute YBC Senior Mixed Team
Qualifying Tournament on to weekend as Stacey Wilding was first in the
girls division at 1,160 and Chad.Wilding was second in the boys group at
1.148.
The bowlers along with coach Mike Cregan will be in Oshawa later this
month for the provincial finals.

Basketball: The junior girls bas-
ketball team is still undefeated in
Huron -Perth play as they handled
the visiting Goderich Vikings 40-
30 Monday afternoon.
South Huron went on en offen-
sive burst in this one as they led by
a basket with a couple of minutes
left but stole the ball several times
and took advantage of turnovers.
Candace Miller led the way with
13 iroints. Meanwhile, the seniors
were beaten 39-20 while the mid-
gets won 37-29.
In tournament y on the week-
end in Seaforth a midgets lost to
Goderich came back to beat
Seaforth.
The fors were in the North -
Middlesex Tournament on the
weekend and beat London Ranting
but lost to Sarnia Northern and
Medway .
In senior league play on Wednes-
day, Stacey Rader netted 12 poiru .s
in a 36-14 win over Central Huron.

day the girls basketball teams will
host Seaforth. Yesterday (Tuesday)
the boys' volleyball Learns hosted
Goderich and Central Huron.
Wednesday the runners head to
