Last Tuesday, the Panthers first
hosted SL Marys in an exciting
match which ended in a 1-1 draw.
SL Marys drew fust blood as they
converted a penalty stroke early in
the second half, forcing the Pan-
thers to fight for a comeback.
Things seemed to get worse for
the home squad a fewinoments lat-
er, when South Huron fullback
Kristen Strang was forced to leave
the game after being injured by a
slash. But the incident seemed to
spark the tenni and Brenyn Bayn-
ham converted a penalty corner on
the next play to tie the game. Lisa
Forrest had an outstanding game
defensively.

In a rather one-sided match -up,
the Panthers sought revenge for
their earlier tie by knocking off
Stratford Northwestern 6-0.
