Beginning at 11 a.m., those front ages six to adult, will take pan. The novice and advanced groups are also scheduled to have weapons competitions. The day will be highlighted by a demonstration by three -time North American Weapons and Kata Champion, Mike Bernardo. There will also be a demonstration which will match Team Crediton Karate J aata Club against the Team London Ka- rate Club. Final game on Sunday EXETER - The Exeter Juvenile Ladies fastball team will take on Ailsa Craig for the Parkhill - McGillivray - West Williams League championship on Sunday at 2 p.m. The game will be played in Exet• - er at the South Huron Recreation Centre's Diamond 2. The past weekend saw Ailsa Craig win 13- 12 after Exeter had won the first game of the best -of -three series, 8- 7. Racquet club aims to double membership for '92-93 season EXETER - With an open house Saturday to highlight their facility , the South Huron Racquet Club aims to attract new members to their sport this season. One of the club's founders. Peter Darbishire, describes squash as a sport enjoyable by any agc group. As he speaks, a pair of boys are on the court, familiarizing themselves with the racquets and the rules. Another main point is that squash has ver simple, uncomplicated rules. Panther tournament EXETER - The annual South Hu- m: District High School Senior Girls invitational Basketball Tour- nament will take place Friday and Saturday at the high school. Eight teams will compete includ- ine the host Panthers who take on London's Beal at 8 p.m. on Friday night. The opening game of the tournament is at 3:30 p.m. when Medway plays Clinton's Central Huron.
