Residents enjoy bus tour
ZURICH - Jason McCarthy of
Bible Missionary Church in Zurich
led the residents in Sunday after-
noon service.
On Monday a few residents
boarded the Home Bus, chauf-
feured by Marc Chalut of Bayfield,
to view white squirrels in Exeter
and tour Hensall.
Tuesday evening members of the
Home Auxiliary visited the Rest
Home and entertained the residents.
A poem of "Welcome" was read by
Doreen Oesch. Verde Beechler, a
Home Auxiliary member and resi-
dent of Maptewoods Aparunents,
read a poem. Doreen and Earl
Oesch performed a duet- Doreen re-
cited a poem for "Old Folks".
Throughout the evening Cal Ginge-
rich and Doug Oesch provided mu-
sical numbers. The residents
thanked the committee of Beechler,
Mary Gingerich and Oesch for an
enjoyable evening and a lunch of
coffee, tea and doughnuts.

Church was in charge of Chapel
Service Thursday afternoon. Father
Peter Hayes returned after his one
month vacation to celebrate mass
with the congregation. Father Pat-
rick Cope, visiting Canada from
England, provided services during
Father Hayes' absence.
Beatrice Rader, resident . of the
Blue Water Rest Home Apart-
ments, left Thursday evening to
spend the Labour Day weekend
with her granddaughter Sandra Tutz
and her husband Derek at Sun -

ful eye of Josef Risi, the Home Ad-
