But the Classics added more in the first frame when Brenda Wilds, Theresa Simpson, Carol Windsor, Sherri Nickles, and Mary McKillop all connected with base hits. In the fourth, Kelli Kennedy, Pugh and Wilds had hits before Simpson connected with a double. Windsor, who pitched all three games for Crediton, retired the side in order in the first, sixth and sev- enth innings while striking out four. Easily handle Greys The biggest rivalry in the league met head on Saturday afternoon as the Classics went against the Exet- er Greys. But it was Crediton elim- inating Exeter with a 14-3 win. While the Greys managed to score a pair of runs off of hits from Kendra Arthur, Gayle Beuennan and Brenda Bell, the Classics an- swered with five nuns in their half of the first. A single by the hosting Brewers' Lonnie Taylor, lifted them to a 6-5 win in the bottom of the 11th in- ning Strathroy swept the hest -of - three series in hack -to -hack games and will now advance to the Onta- rio Baseball Association 'D' cham- pionship tournament in Courtright.
