Sunday in London, the visiting Ex-

Exeter starting pitcher Paul Gil-

and retired the side in the second,
third and fourth innings before giv-

Dave Shaw came on in relief fol-
lowed by Ron Elliott.
In the second, Exeter had a good
chance of getting runs on the board
when, with just one out, D'Aricy
Martin, Doug Schade and Brian
Rivard all singled but Rob Dickey
popped out and Bill Glover ground
out.
