walks and a Goderich error. But the
home team came back and got
three of their own in the third.
Goderich threatened late in the
game and with two on, two out and
leading by a single run, Lucan sent
Mail Munro to the mound to get
the final out.
Goderich 5, Lucan 2
On Sunday in Lucan, it took 10
innings as this one was knotted just
2-2 after regular play.
' A pair of hits by Goderich, com-
bined with a sacrifice fly and a Lu -
can error made the difference.
Brett Revington had three hits for
Lucan with two each from Matt
Mutter and Coughlin.. Shane Gillen
and Brett Humphreys had singles.
Clinton 7, Exeter 2
The Exeter Co -Op Juniors started
off the week on a bad note on
Wednesday, coming up short at
home against Clinton.
Clinton pitcher Neal Atchison
kept the locals off the board until
the eighth inning when Mike
Francc singled, advanced on a
ground out and scored when Steve
Nixon singled.
Exeter added one more in the
ninth but it was not enough.
