Late rally not enough CREDiTON - After getting off to a good start here Monday night, Cre- diton lost their third of the season, a 9-7 defeat to Setwingvilie. The visitors plated a run in the top of the first but Crediton came back and quickly made it 3-1. Carol Windsor started the rally with one out when she doubled and then the bases were loaded when Jane Bowley and Theresa McGee walked. Catcher Sherry Nickles connected with a double to clear the bases. Sebringviile chipped away and made it 4-3 on a couple of hits, a walk and an error in the third inning. The home team got a couple more in the fifth but Sebringville scored five in the top of the seventh In the bottom of the seventh and final inning, Crediton tried to come back as Ruth Pugh tripled, McGee singled.
