Threshing
demonstration
e are very happy to
add to our sesqui-
centennial celebrations an
old time demonstration of
cutting wheat and .stooking
a week before July 25th.
We are using
Lome Bal-
lantyne's
1948 M John
Deere tractor
on - Claire
Deicherts In-
ternational 7'
Binder.
Lome will be the tractor
driver and Don Bray will
run the binder.
We ane hoping this will
take place just north of
Morrison Dam on Charles
Kemick's farm on Conces-
sion 3 Usborne. Lloyd Fer-
guson; Charles Kenrick and
Glenn Jeffrey will help
stook the wheat. Anyone
wanting to help bring your
pitch fork along that day.
Wayne Hem's 1959 530
John Deere tractor is pull-
ing a Toad of sheaves in the
parade. The other load, Bob
O'Neil's team of horses, is
being driven by Elston
Lynn.
Both these loads of wheat
will be threshed after the
parade at the
horse ring at the
'Exeter fair-
grounds on July
-25.
We are using
Claire Deicherts
Bell 28" cylinder
threshing ma-
chine and his J4 interna-
tional tractor to drive the
machine.
Phil Johns, Gordon Ford,
Jack Blair and Clarence
Thompson will help feed
the machine that day.
If anyone wants more in-
formation contact Murray
Dawson 235-0907.
Hope the weather per-
mits the wheat to be ready
in July. Come out and sec
our demonstration
Thanks again
Murray Dawson
