Canada 125 party in Granton

Scott hosted a Canada 125 outdoor
party at their home for the townlinc
north of Granton recently, assisted
by Jim and Lynda Hodgms.
A potluck supper was enjoyed by
everyone and later marshmallows
-were toasted around a bonfire.
Earl French won the watermelon
earnest for, guessing closest to us
weight, and winners of the three
candy tars game were Rob Morley.

Huron Trek hits road
to raise money for
county museum
GODERICH - A fundraising hike
leaves Goderich this Saturday to
raise money for the Huron County
Museum.
Dubbed the Huron Trek, it will
start from the Harbour Park in
Goderich at 7 a.m. and wind its
way along Huron Roads to the Va-
nEgmond House in bgmondville by
about 6 p.m.

Join the 38 kilometre route at a
number o[ points along the way ac-
cording ording to the distance they wish to
hike: OPP cruisers will lead and
follow the hikers at about a 4 km/h
pace.
Pledge sheets will be validated al
each check .point, and a bagged
hutch stop is planned in Clinton.
Cold drinks will be provided.
A harvest supper concludes the
day at the Van6gmond House.
Tickets are S7 for adults and $3.5(1
for children and can be bought at
