Miller also thanked the Staffa branch for send- ing her to the workshop in Central- ia College recently. There were 23 members and visi- tors present and the roll call was answered by naming a country that did not appear on the map of the world 50 years ago, and telling where it was located. Not all had done our homework. Freda Kerslake gave two humor- ous readings for her "smiles". Margaret Kemp had an interest- ing display set up on Canada: Eve- ryone received a Canadian flag pin and a maple leaf, upon arrival. Kemp also read "Our Heritage" written by Laura Dickson and played a Red Skelton tfpe, a tribute to O Canada.
