Brian Kiefer of Brian's Service Centre in Dashwood specializes in
Husqvama lawn and garden equipment and is presently the only
establishment In the area that setts a line he describes as the "Cad-
illac of lawn mowers".

lawn mower on the market today. An exclusive rear -wheel steering
system allows the mower to cut a circle with a short six inch radius.
This, says Kiefer, 'enables people with a lot of shrubs and trees to
cut grass with the minimum amount of trimming." When there's
hard work to be done, no one does it easier than "Husky" yard trac-
tors.
Another feature of this revolutionary piece of equipment is that it
cuts the grass before the wheels of the mower flatten 11, which is
the case for most other mowers.
Other Husqvama products available are push lawn mowers,
grass trimmers, chainsaws and roto -diggers. Kipfer also points out
that he handles Suzuki Quad Runners and Quad Sports which are
an asset to any farm, as well as Suzuki portable generators.
The push fawn mowers offered by Kipfer, have cutting widths
from 19 to 22 inches and riding mowers with horsepower ranging
from 12 to 18 and cutting decks from 38 to 54 inches.
Husqvama also offers a roto tiller model, CRT50, which features
a counter rotating rear tine tiller. This unique characteristic delivers
powerful titling action even in heavily packed soil conditions using a
five horsepower engine.
Since Kipfer took over the family -run business in 1984, he has
run it on the ideal that "service is important if not more important
than the sale". Thus, Kipfer and two other employees are available
'for full repair service on all sales and will provide free demonstra-
tions of all equipment.
The off-season finds the showroom displayed with Yamaha snow-
mobiles and for the first time this winter, Kipfer will stock Husqvama
snowblowers. Full automotive repairs are also provided all year
long.
