It was a pairs event sponsored by Laurentian Bank of Exeter, with 22 teams partic- ipating from Lucknow, London, Woodstock, Stratford, Sea - forth, St. Marys and Exeter. It was a good effort by the start- ing 11, but the experience of the missing starters showed with the continuous attack of the home team.
