Mac Hodgen called the couple
forward and read a very humorous
address while Wilfred Hunkin pre-

,named the new principal at Precious Blood Separate

has succeeded in getting council to ask for a traffic light at
,Main and Sanders streets.

June 4, 1942 - Retiring Exeter High School principal
E.J. Wethey reported the number on roll as 181. Teacher
Gordon Koch was allowed an afternoon off to attend Uni-
versity,of Western Ontario Convocation when Exeter Pub-
lic School principal Joseph Creech received his degree.
The new Service Flying Training School is to open at
R.C.A.F. Centralia next week and is expected be the larg-
est of its kind in Canada.
Two auxiliary landing fields for R.C-A.F. Centralia are
being built at Grand Bend and St. Joseph. A spur railway
dine is being built into Centralia airport.
The tender for a new pasteurizing plant at the Huron
County Home at Clinton has been awarded to Huron
Lumber of Exeter for $822.50
Percy Passmore of the area is chairman of the Local Day
Committee for the 1942 International Piowing Match.
