from Keith Robson and Snider.
Chris Chater then made it 2-0 at
16:16 of the first, when he took a
pass from Jon McEachem.
Szabo's only blemish of the night
came just :58 seconds into the sec-
ond, when a blast from Trojan Jere-
my Hanford handcuffed the Lucan
netminder. Szabo then proceeded
to stone Thamesford, along with
the help of a tough_defense.
The Irish then got second period
goals from' Darren Neil and Greg
Deftest, and iced the game in he
third with Neil's second of the
game followed by tallies from
McEachem and Brian Schuyler.
Thursday's contest was spirited to
say the least, with both sides dish-
ing out some key hits. Tempers
flared in the third period among
players and fans alike, as a few of
each were ejected from the game.
Referee "Kelly Mechlenbacher
handed out over 140 minutes in
penalties, including four game mis-
conducts in the late stages.
