The guest speaker, Lena Esch- truth, was introduced by her cousin Lloyd Mardlin, told about what is happening in Zaire, Africa. Over 380 members and voting delegates, from Windsor to Stratford attended the Conven- tion, which reflected the 1992 theme: "Parish - A Family of the Local Church." The convention was attended by Grand Bend CWL president Cathy Vrolyk and past president Roberta Walker, as voting delegates. Eight other members also attended on the second day of convention and/or came to The -banquet, representing the council of Immaculate Heart of Mary parish.
