Dennison and McClennan finish seventh By Ron Dann ZURICH - Grand Bend's Sharon Jenni- son and Janice McClennan, Hiram Walker Special Old Ontario High - Low Doubles Champions, finished seventh in the Special Old National Championships Saturday at Or- leans, near Ottawa. "The Canadian 5 Pin Bowlers' Association made sure everything about the Special OId National tournament was first class, but we just couldn't bowl as well as we wanted. It's hard to bowl really good every thne" McClennan said. "We bowled 48 pins over our aver- age but Saskatchewan won the Special Old National with 443 pins over," she added. Jennison and McClennan had previously bowled exceptionally well twice, fust winning the Spe- cial Old Zurich Bowlers' Associa- tion zone rdlloff January 12 and then the Special Old Ontario title February 29 at Hamilton. • The Special Old .Ontario .win earned both McClennan and Jenni- aon,all expense paid trips for two ,to Florida in November. This is -the 1 first time any Zurich Association bowlers have won this and ad- vanced to the. Special Old National level. Full Level two National Coaching Certification will be required for all coaches in O-F.P.B.A. tournament coaching, including the Blue Light Open, Blue Light Sun Bowl, O.F.P.B,A.
