Dennison and McClennan finish seventh

Low Doubles Champions, finished
seventh in the Special Old National
Championships Saturday at Or-
leans, near Ottawa.
"The Canadian 5 Pin Bowlers'
Association made sure everything
about the Special OId National
tournament was first class, but we
just couldn't bowl as well as we
wanted. It's hard to bowl really
good every thne" McClennan said.
"We bowled 48 pins over our aver-
age but Saskatchewan won the
Special Old National with 443 pins
over," she added.
Jennison and McClennan had
previously bowled exceptionally
well twice, fust winning the Spe-
cial Old Zurich Bowlers' Associa-
tion zone rdlloff January 12 and
then the Special Old Ontario title
February 29 at Hamilton. •
The Special Old .Ontario .win
earned both McClennan and Jenni-
aon,all expense paid trips for two
,to Florida in November. This is -the 1
first time any Zurich Association
bowlers have won this and ad-
vanced to the. Special Old National
level.

Booster Club Championships.

ciation Coaching policy has been
upgraded for the 1992-93 season.
Full Level two National Coaching
Certification will be required for all
coaches in O-F.P.B.A. tournament
coaching, including the Blue Light
Open, Blue Light Sun Bowl,
O.F.P.B,A. Youth Challenge and
Black Tower Team tournaments.
Level One Will no longer be ac-
ceptable.

very successful in their efforts to fundraise for the Big Broth-

League Champs for the Lucan Wednesday Night Mixed Bowl-
ing were the high flyers, who also won the league A champion-
