Department hall in Huron Park last Wednesday. Here, fire chief Robert Pertschy explains how
breathing apparatus Is an essential part of a firefighter's equipment. Students from McCurdy,
Stephen Central, and Mt. Carmel Schools were treated to tours of the fire hall as the conclu-
sion to a fire safety poster contest.

Carol Simons welcomed every-
one and thanked everyone for com-
ing. Kim Taylor played a number
on the piano followed by the young
sloggers Cara Stephenson and Tra-
ci Taylor. Following this the Ban-
nockburn Players took over. Phy-
liss Aldwinckle acting as Lynn and
Janet Webster. acting as Lowell and

Julie's days prior to her wedding.

of the community showers keeping
everyone on their toes laughing and
in suspense wondering what's com-
ing up next.

Sunday were daughters, Sue Anne,
from Brantford, ,,Sandra, from
Ooderich, Bob and Trudy Smith,
Rachel, Andrew, Aaron and Rober-
ta and Hugh and Annie Morenz.
Jim and Lenore Orr, have re-
turned to their home in this area af-
wintering in the south. The Orrs
spent Easter Sunday with their
daughter Pat and family in Guelph.
Lorne and Dorothy Fenner, visit-
ed Good Friday, with her sister
Evelyn and Clyde Nicholson at
Courtright, and on Sunday with sis-
ter Audrey and Ken Westman in
London.
Members of the Snyder family
gathered Easter Sunday with Su-
zanne and Otto Plein, Christopher
and Melissa at Elmira.
Attending were Ferman and Leo-
na Snyder, Jim and Judy Snyder,
Nicholas and Lisa, of this area, Es-
ther and Rick Story, Scott and Ste-
